Antique Victorian Die Cut - Horse and Rider in the Drink christening The handle still moves upAbsolutely pristine! Found inside an old Victorian Scrapbook, here's a C. 1890 die cut depicting a horse that has thrown his rider. Poor horse, he is trying to crawl out of a ditch while the rider watches to see if the animal is going to make it. High color, no breakdown in the ink and an absolutely clean back with no glue or paper residue. The image measures 4 1 2" x 3" approx. More than likely a British made piece due to the subject matter.
